In addition, Lethbridge ranks in the top 5 Canadian cities for having the sunniest summer and autumn days. Contrary to popular belief, Lethbridge is not the windiest city in Canada but it’s citizens do enjoy the Chinook winds that bring warm winter weather.

The University of Lethbridge

One of the most significant architectural structures in Canada, University of Lethbridge University Hall was designed by renowned Canadian Arthur Ericksen. In May 2007, University Hall was featured in the 2007 Canada Post Stamp Program as part of a four commemorative stamp tribute to the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. The University of Lethbridge Campus spans more than 500 acres and is nestled on the banks of the Old Man River.
